Keith Fall

Keith Fall, born June 14th, 1971 started training July 1983 under James and Jean (Coop) Zimmermann. He trained several times a week and advanced to the rank of Shodan in December 1986. In 1988 he competed individually and on the team for the USEWF in Japan. From 1989 until 1992 he enlisted in the US Navy and was stationed at Millington, TN which allowed him to continue to train. Once discharged from the Navy he returned home taking on more teaching responsibility for the schools under Mr. Zimmermann’s control. On June 1st 1996 he married Niki Fall who also trains and teaches. Over the years they had three children who train as well. In 1998 he was advanced to Go-Dan making him the senior instructor for Zimmermann Karate. In 2015 he took over as Chief Instructor after the passing of Mr. Zimmermann. Mr. and Mrs. Fall took over operation of the schools after Mrs. Zimmermann stepped down in 2023. Since 2002 Mr. Fall has worked for the Columbia Police Department and serves as a sergeant in the patrol division. Columbia Police Department awards include the Police Star, two Living Saving Medals, Sons of the American Revolution Law Enforcement Commendation Medal, and two Officer of the Month awards. USEWF awards include being inducted in the USEWF Hall of Fame, the Grandmaster Award, CT Patterson Memorial Award, Mr. Zimmermann Dedication Award, Karateka of the Year, and several appreciation awards. Shodan 1986, Nidan 1989, Sandan 1991, Yondan 1994, Godan 1998, and Rokudan 2005. Currently he holds a 7th dan, and a Renshi Jun Shihan license.
